A design concept first conceived six years ago has finally come to life.

Vignette Collection Tiancheng Belmont Hotel Sanya is a full-scope spatial design project we created for Zhonggang Properties, covering everything from public areas and the all-day dining restaurant to guest rooms and an indoor children’s playground.

The lobby is defined by a serene deep blue palette, where linear and geometric forms set a calm sense of order, gently shielding guests from the hustle of the outside world.

The all-day dining restaurant carries forward this structured language, with crisp lines shaping functional zones while preserving a relaxed, unhurried dining ambiance.

Guest rooms shift to soft, body-friendly curves that feel warm and enveloping, ideal for moments of quiet retreat.

The children’s area takes curves into a playful, wave-like language, paired with vibrant colors to inspire exploration and free imagination.

Through the gradual transition from structured straight lines to embracing, dynamic curves, the design weaves together calmness, relaxation, solitude, and vitality.

More than just a hotel, it embodies a harmonious dialogue between spaces, delivering a deeply restorative escape through layered, sensory-rich experiences.

Nestled in Guangzhou Beijing Road’s historic district, MINISO LAND and TOP TOY flagship stores are steeped in the unique charm of Lingnan-style arcades.

Starting from the architectural structure and decorative features, we have infused brand visuals and contemporary art while respecting the original rhythm. Details continue the local tradition of reliefs, railing patterns, and cornice bands, yet translate brand symbols into these elements, allowing old and new languages to interpenetrate. Thus, the facade retains the cultural memory and proportions of the arcades, while showcasing modern trends through dynamic color, material, and imagery—adding a familiar yet fresh visual landmark to this century-old district.

As the third installment in the “Deji Commercial & Art Bazaar” series, the fifth-floor public area builds on the core vision of moving beyond traditional static retail models. In response to the preferences of younger consumers and their appetite for novelty, the design creates an immersive shopping experience that blends technology with interactivity, seamlessly integrating cyberpunk aesthetics with artistic installations.

The washrooms extend the public area’s renovation theme, using ”weaving“ as the core design concept.
The space translates fashion tailoring into three-dimensional form, drawing classic patterns like houndstooth and checks from fashion prints and integrating them into the decor to create a cohesive visual language.
These patterns extend across floors, walls, and ceilings in varying scales. The interplay of lines and planes establishes a dynamic rhythm, enhancing spatial depth and expressing fashion sophistication through clean geometric forms.

Both fashion and spatial design operate at the human scale, where forms, layouts, and details convey identity, emotion, and ideas. Both are custom-tailored, rejecting standardization to celebrate individual narrative.

Drawing from this shared philosophy, my approach in this project is to create spaces that poetically envelop the body, employing a delicate construction akin to weaving space itself.

My work is featured on Storebook’s cover — two years in a row! 🎉

With 14 years in commercial design, I’ve focused deeply on retail, partnering with leading Chinese brands and designing viral spaces that people love to share. Along the way, we’ve gained real, hands-on experience navigating everything from consumer needs and market trends to the larger shifts shaping our times.

Open to sharing retail design insights — feel free to reach out if you‘re interested in our story!

We transformed a once-overlooked “cold zone” of the mall into a flowing, artistic “bazaar”.

Imagine curved walls, inspired by space capsules, guiding you through a romantic and ethereal space. The undulating walls form outward-protruding display windows and dedicated exhibition areas scattered throughout the public area.

It’s no longer just a place to shop—it’s a sensory experience, blending culture and emotion into the everyday.

I’m very excited to share my latest design project: POP MART Bangkok ICONSIAM Flagship Store. This marks my second collaboration with POP MART, and together, we crafted a dreamscape along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok.

Dreams have no rules. They flow like water, unfold like music. From the entrance—shaped like a music box—a gentle turn of the key brings you into the dream. The first floor is a subtle vortex, quietly guiding you from reality into fantasy. The second floor becomes a pixelated cube world, where colors and structures reassemble like fragments of a dream. Finally, at the brand‘s first overseas Fairytale Café, dream and reality intertwine, ending the journey with a tender pause.

Local culture is also a vital thread in this dream. The swirling forms echo Thailand’s water culture, while the rhythm of stacked pixels draws inspiration from Wat Arun. On the terrace, MOLLY appears in traditional Thai attire, seated on the national animal—the elephant. In this way, the dream connects with the land.

I’ve always believed that space is more than commerce—it can move emotions and spark imagination. If you’re in Bangkok, I warmly invite you to walk around, explore, and take a seat. Dreams can indeed become real.
