Náš výlet vláčkem (jo, měly jsme celý vlak! 🤗) do manufaktury Bohemia Sekt byl prostě úžasný.

Moc děkuji YARN QUEEN Prague a za to, že se starají o naši pletařskou komunitu a pořádají pro nás tak krásné akce.

A děkujeme za zajímavou exkurzi a možnost nahlédnout do výroby jednoho z nejoblíbenějších českých sektů a samozřejmě i za degustaci. 🍾🥂

This week had a bit of everything.

I’m deep in a new summer design and the fit isn’t there yet. I keep unraveling and starting over. I so badly want us to knit this one together.

Luckily my mother-in-law was visiting and interrupted that unraveling loop. We spent a whole week just being in the city. That helped more than I expected. ♥️

I love acting like a tourist in my own city and looking intentionally for inspiration, for patterns:
- A Karl Lagerfeld window on the way to the museum.
- Czech glass at a gallery.
- Mucha posters I’ve walked past a hundred times.

The answer isn’t always in persistence. Sometimes you have to leave the studio.

🌼And this little yellow marigold is a symbol of Czech Day Against Cancer.

If you’re stuck on something right now, go outside. Look at things that have nothing to do with what you’re making. It works. 🤗♥️

The Nuance Tee is here 🍒

I designed this top for the knitter who feels ready for more than just beginner basics… but still wants the process to feel simple and enjoyable.

So I added a small nuance. A simple yet stylish mesh detail at the yoke that gives your tee that little “wow” without making things complicated.

And if mesh feels like too much right now? There’s a basic stockinette version too. I almost didn’t include it, and now I’m so glad I did.
