The first thing to fail on a cheap wallet? The stitching. 🧵

Poor stitching can mean loose threads, open seams and a wallet that falls apart long before the leather does.

From raw leather to the finished wallet.

This is what was hiding inside the hide — and this is what it becomes after hours of cutting, stitching and finishing.

Same leather. Completely different story.

I normally wouldn’t do this.

But sometimes, the best part of a piece of leather is hidden where you least expect it.

For this wallet, I cut into the inner part of the hide to get the tannery’s mark — something I usually avoid because it means using leather that could otherwise become another product.

But I don’t throw the rest away.

Smaller pieces become keychains, small accessories and other little projects.

Less waste. More leather stories.

Somehow, we‘ve accepted that a wallet should be so bulky that you have to take it out before sitting down.

Why?

A wallet is something you carry every day. It shouldn‘t get in the way of dour everyday life.

That‘s why I make mine compact, slim and comfortable to carry - without compromising on the leather of the craftmanship.

Because your wallet should disappear in your pocket.
Not announce itswlf every time you sit down.

Not made for everyone.
Made for someone.
I‘ve always liked the idea of making things that feel personal. Not something you pick up from a shelf because it‘s there, but something that was made with one person in mind.
So that‘s what I try to create with every piece I make. I take a piece of leather, work on it by hand, and slowly turn it into something that will hopefully bevome part of someone‘s everyday life.
No two pieces will be exactly the same. And onestly:
That‘s what i LOVE about it!
