At Studio Fini Architettura, our Interior Design department is increasingly exploring bespoke storytelling as a way to present custom pieces beyond traditional formats.

For the Arlecchino coffee table, designed by Francesca Fini for Studio Fini Architettura, a conventional presentation would not have been enough to communicate the spirit of the piece.

The goal was not only to show its volumes, wood grains, and geometry, but also to evoke the atmosphere behind the design. Generative AI became a tool to extend the presentation into a more narrative and emotional dimension, creating a bridge between furniture design, video art, and theatrical imagination.

Through this approach, a performance inspired by the Commedia dell’Arte visually merges with the architecture of the table, revealing the story embedded in the object itself.

For Studio Fini Architettura, bespoke storytelling means using technology not to standardize design, but to create more precise, personal, and evocative ways of presenting unique pieces — especially when a project is deeply connected to a client’s passions, memories, and visual world.

Casa de Campo Marina was born from the visionary genius of Gianfranco Fini — architect, artist, and designer — who, at first sight of these Caribbean shores, imagined something that did not yet exist in the Dominican Republic: a true Mediterranean-style marina, inspired by the great nautical villages of Italy.

After his transformative experience in Sardinia, where Studio Fini contributed to shaping Porto Rotondo into one of the most iconic marinas of the Mediterranean, Gianfranco Fini brought that same intuition to Casa de Campo. What he envisioned was not simply a place to dock boats, but an entirely new way of living by the sea.

With this pioneering project, Studio Fini helped redefine the tourist development of the area, opening the Dominican Republic to a new nautical lifestyle and to a type of high-end yachting tourism that was, at the time, virtually unknown in the region.

Extending over more than 90,000 m², Casa de Campo Marina brings together residential architecture, hospitality, services, restaurants, boutiques, and public spaces within a coherent urban vision. Its colorful architectural language includes 105 residential units, from villas to townhouse-style apartments, many of them with private piers.

Unlike conventional marinas, often conceived merely as parking facilities for boats, Casa de Campo Marina was imagined as a Southern European port with the soul of a traditional fishing village. Mediterranean colors, human-scale architecture, lively waterfront promenades, and the large central Portofino Square come together to create a vibrant destination where architecture, sea, and lifestyle become part of one unforgettable experience.
