Ancient Egypt, a land of pharaohs, pyramids, and mystique, is widely regarded as the origin of art. The rich cultural heritage of this ancient civilization has left an indelible mark on the world of art, influencing generations of artists, architects, and craftsmen.

✨ Meet the Artists | G.Concepts Gallery ✨
As we continue our series for Cap Art 4th Edition (17–19 October at Capital Business Park), we are delighted to introduce Somaya Soliman, a contemporary Egyptian artist and founder of Somaya Soliman Art. 🎨

With a diverse background in law, human resources, and psychology, Somaya shifted her career after 20 years in multinational corporations to follow her passion for art full-time.
Her works—ranging from acrylic abstraction to surrealism and modern Arabic calligraphy—have been exhibited at the Egyptian Museum, Cairo Opera House, and the Museum of Islamic Art.
In 2025, her project Art Meets Rugs with LEO RUGS gained international recognition at Heimtextil Frankfurt, praised for fusing fine art with hand-woven craftsmanship.
Today, based in New Cairo, she continues to reinterpret Egyptian heritage with a bold, contemporary voice, bridging art, design, and cultural identity.

🔵 الحقيقة الورشة فاقت كل توقعاتى بمراحل
بداية من المكان اللى فيه كم رهيب من الراحة و كإنه بيؤهلك نفسيا انك تفتح أغوار نفسك بمنتهى الطمأنينة.
و من هنا تبدأ مرحلة التنفس و الراحة و بتبدأ رحلة مع الالوان و الخطوط و بتحس انك فضيت كل الدوشة قصادك و شايفها

كم راحة و إسترخاء للروح رهيب و كنت متشوقة جدا اعرف تحليل العمل الفنى من وجهة نظر علمية
و بالفعل التحليل كان مذهل .. اد كده عرفت تفاصيل و مشاعر و قرارات و و و ..
اعتقد انى هابدا مرحلة ادمان لورش
مع إيمان 😅
تجربة راااائعة و انصح كل واحد انه يخوضها و لو مرة و اخدة على الأقل💕
