✨ Decidí entrar en el reto de tendencias artísticas de del mes de abril, sobre el juego Mahjong.
Nunca he jugado al Mahjong, y de allí vino el principal reto, entender un poco de que iba, cómo se jugaba, cómo eran las fichas, las reglas y sobre todo el estilo de vida y los rituales asociados al juego, tan pronto recibí en mi correo la convocatoria, empecé a investigar.
Me costó un poco, hice varios bocetos antes de decidirme. Pero al final me decanté por hacer lo que mejor sé hacer que es un bodegón, pero con una mesa de juegos como protagonista.
Por lo visto las fiestas y los clubes de Mahjong son bastante populares, por lo que este primer diseño —realicé dos— lo enfoqué en el tema de las fiestas, por lo que lo llamé 'Mahjongs party'.

✨ I decided to enter the art trend challenge from for April, this time about the game Mahjong.
I've never played Mahjong before, and that's where the main challenge came from: understanding what it was all about, how to play, what the tiles were like, the rules, and especially the lifestyle and rituals associated with the game. As soon as I received the challenge in my email, I started researching.
It took me a while; I made several sketches before deciding. But in the end, I opted for what I do best: a still life, but with a game table as the main focus.
Apparently, Mahjong parties and clubs are quite popular, so this first design—I made two—focused on the theme of parties, which is why I called it 'Mahjongs Party'.
