I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Food brings people together.

I didn’t know the Que?bab family before they opened. That’s how we met. Now, every time we see each other, there’s a genuine smile and a good conversation.

Today, you’ll find a basket of my bakes at their place. A little test to see how it goes. What’s inside is a surprise.

So why not go enjoy an amazing shawarma and take home something for dinner, breakfast, and maybe even dessert?

Finally, I can breathe. 😂
In my language, we have a saying: “Numai mâine nu-i poimâine.”
Literally: “Only tomorrow isn’t the day after tomorrow.”

That’s exactly how I feel about September.

This summer, working in this heat has been… character building. 🫠
Let’s just say the discomfort level reached “why did I choose this career?” territory more than once.

But September is almost here, temperatures are finally becoming slightly less offensive, and I can actually enjoy the process again.

Because apparently the normal size disappears far too quickly.

Your favourite Classic and Spelt sourdoughs are now available as generous 1.4 kg family size loaves. Easier to slice and much harder to finish in one sitting. Although I know some of you will try.

I bake from my little certified home kitchen in Pueblo Nuevo, always in small batches.

There are different breads every week, depending on what I feel like making and, what you enjoy eating. I try to keep the prices decent too. At least I hope they are!

Nothing mass-produced, nothing sitting around for days. Just good, freshly baked bread made in small quantities.
