Hi! I’m Iva, the person behind IvagurumiToys. Here 3 thing about me.
First, my main mission? I want you to feel actual peace while following my patterns—not a headache. I design them to be your "quiet time" therapy. And when you finish, I want you to look at your new crocheted friend and think, "Damn, I actually made something beautiful."
Second, I’m a total perfectionist. This is why I sometimes disappear from Instagram for days—I’m probably over-analyzing a single stitch or re-doing a pattern for the 10th time. It might never be "perfect" to me, but I promise I’ve put in the work so it’s perfect for you. (Former graphic designer problems, right? 🎨)
Ald the last one is why I started crocheting. Because of my son. I wanted to make sure that if he ever requested a life-sized Pikachu for his birthday, I’d be the mom who could actually deliver. But somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't doing it for him anymore—I was doing it for me. There’s something addictive about creating a 3D character out of a literal ball of string. Now that I’m in my 30s, I’m just happily returning to my childhood hobbies, one favourite character at a time.
