🎨 My heart is full! ✨
I'm incredibly proud to share that my artwork *Eternal Summer* is now part of the exhibition 'We Are More Alike Than Different' at Cultural House Laikku, Tampere, Finland!
I created the artwork last autumn as part of a multicultural street art project commissioned by Tampere City alongside 7 other artists from diverse backgrounds and it has now found a new home in this exhibition. This piece is inspired by Bangladeshi rickshaw art, a vibrant traditional art recognized by UNESCO in 2023 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
What makes this especially happy to me is that the story behind the artwork is presented in in Bengali, my mother language, as well. There is something quietly powerful about seeing your own language on a wall in a country so far from home.
