Aujourd’hui il me paraît important de se positionner sur ça, d’être transparent sur ses convictions et ses méthodes de travail. En plus de tout les problèmes d’ordre environnementaux qu’elle génère, cette technologie me paraît extrêmement dangereuse pour l’évolution et l’entretien de son « esprit créatif », indispensable à tout artiste. D’autant plus quand on sait que ce que vous recrache l’IA est le produit d’un vol monumental à l’échelle des artistes du monde entier et à travers les âges, une insulte. Bref. C’est important pour moi de le préciser dans une société où les repaires se brouillent à vitesse grand V, où on arrive plus à savoir. C’est un engagement profondément personnel de vous à moi : ici vous serez toujours dans un espace crée par une humaine pour d’autres humains.

IA has no place in my creative process and never would have, nor in my personnal life or managing of my business. In my workshop and home there are dozens of notebook, pens, paints, etc. Every ideas are born from what I see in nature but also other humans arts, nourrishing my imaginary until it gives rise to other things: my world, my style.

Today, I believe it is important to take a stand on this issue, to be transparent about one’s convictions and working methods. In addition to all the environmental problems it causes, this technology strikes me as extremely dangerous for the development and maintenance of one’s ‘creative spirit’, which is essential to any artist. All the more so when you realise that what AI spits out is the product of a monumental theft from artists across the globe and throughout the ages – an insult. In short. It’s important for me to make this clear in a society where boundaries are blurring at breakneck speed, where it’s becoming impossible to know what’s what. This is a deeply personal commitment from me to you: here, you will always be in a space created by a human being for other human being.
