✨ “Behind the Prints” – The Artists of Paris Prints ✨

Let us introduce you to Shreenie from Tana Bana

Rooted in a rich textile heritage, Shreenie comes from a third generation of handloom weavers from a remote village in southern India. This early connection to craftsmanship shaped a lifelong passion for textile arts, leading him to explore a wide range of traditional techniques.

Founded in 2003 and now based in the USA, Shreenie has grown Tana Bana into a globally recognized studio serving prestigious clients worldwide.

Today, a team of over 20 artists creates distinctive surface designs through hand-painting, embroidery, and intricate decorative techniques, blending tradition with a contemporary perspective. The result is a body of work that feels deeply authentic, richly textured, and timelessly relevant.

✨ “Behind the Prints” – The Artists of Paris Prints ✨

First up: meet Jane from Fairbairn & Co.

With a background rooted in fine art, and with over two decades of experience, Jane brings a deeply intuitive approach to print design. After co-founding the renowned studio FWS, she launched Fairbairn & Co in 2024 as a natural evolution of her creative vision.

Her studio is known for its beautifully hand-painted textures, from watercolor to expressive sketches, combined with a refined approach to color and modern CAD techniques. The result is thoughtful, tactile designs that feel both artistic and relevant.

We hope you had the chance to visit our February edition of Paris Prints ✨It was a vibrant few days filled with color, creativity, and beautiful encounters, and we were so happy to welcome many of you.

A heartfelt thank you to our talented exhibitors who continue to bring their fabulous prints season after season. Your creativity and dedication are what make Paris Prints so special.

Paris Prints opens tomorrow, so we wanted to take the time to share with you our favorite places to eat ner the show,. We hope you'l love them as much as we do!

Maisie Café is a cute little vegan café where you can both sit down in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy a gorgeous quiche and salad or buy freshly pressed juices, meals and fresh baked goods for on the go!

For a great spot of French cuisine Le Soufflé, right next door at number 36, serves up all the classics but excels in its’ specialty namesake: Le Soufflé! Serving up both savoury and sweet soufflées, for a culinary treat make sure to ask for the specials of the day!

Right up the street at number 34, Guli’s a cute and cosy noodle bar with delicious hearty fare and friendly service.

If you like delicious Italian cuisine, beautiful ravioli and a fabulous cocktail, head over to Alfi’s at number 26.

Angelina’s, famous for its' hot chocolate and beautiful pastries, is also the place where the fashion crowd head for a salad, sandwich or even breakfast during showtime when the tents are set up in the Tuileries Gardens. Their elegant tearooms is a beautiful experience perfect for the true Parisian experience!

✨ A continuons source of inspirations for designers, inspiration continues outside the show all over Paris. We hope you have the time to explore some of the city’s best ongoing design exhibitions, a chance to recharge the eye, discover new perspectives and inspire your next collection.

1/ “Weaving, embroidering, embellishing. The Crafts and Trades of Fashion”
Starting December 13, 2025.

have a gorgeous exhibit celebrating the skills and crafts involved in Parisian fashions. "Through floral motifs, discover the ornamentation techniques, printing, embroidery, lace, artificial flowers—used to embellish and decorate clothing and accessories from the 18th century to the present day. 🌸"

2/ is closed for renovation but continue to inspire with “Drawing outside the lines” an inspiring illustration exhibition hosted in the beautiful galleries of the Grand Palais.

Featuring more than 300 works by 120 artists, the exhibition offers a rare immersion into the collection of the Centre Pompidou’s Graphic Arts Cabinet, one of the world’s most important holdings of works on paper from the 20th and 21st centuries.

"A universal gesture, drawing transcends cultures and eras. From preparatory studies to contemporary installations, from the most intimate lines to monumental compositions and animated drawings, it unfolds as an ever-evolving terrain that continues to fuel artistic creativity and challenge the way we see the world."

3/ 1925–2025: 100 Years of Art Deco chez
A century after Art Deco took the world by storm, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs celebrates its bold modernity through an immersive journey of refined forms, luxurious materials and exceptional craftsmanship.

The exhibition opens spectacularly with the legendary Orient Express, where art, innovation and dreams meet, just as they did in 1925.
