🌹 Fête des Mères
Aujourd’hui, nous célébrons celle qui, avec mon père, a créé la Galerie TRIFF en 1970.
Sur cette photo prise dans son jardin de l’Île d’Yeu, elle pose devant un kilim Hotamis du début du XXe siècle, entourée de roses qu’elle cultive avec le même soin que celui qu’elle a toujours porté aux beaux textiles.
Depuis plus de cinquante ans, elle nous transmet son regard, sa sensibilité aux couleurs, aux matières et aux savoir-faire.
Sans elle, l’histoire de TRIFF n’aurait jamais commencé.

🌹 Mother’s Day
Today, we celebrate the woman who, together with my father, founded Galerie TRIFF in 1970.
In this photograph, taken in her garden on Yeu Island, she stands before an early 20th-century Hotamis kilim, surrounded by roses she tends with the same care and devotion she has always given to beautiful textiles.
For more than fifty years, she has passed on to us her eye for beauty, her love of colour, natural materials, and traditional craftsmanship.
Without her, the story of TRIFF would never have begun.
