Most people think transforming a space means replacing everything.

This project proves the opposite.

For this condo at Royal Palm Resort, the goal was not to completely redesign the apartment, but to completely transform how it feels.

The original bedroom felt visually heavy, dark, and disconnected from the beautiful natural light of Curaçao.

Through a new artistic direction inspired by the island itself — blue lagoon tones, natural fibers, warm wood, woven textures and softer materials — we completely changed the atmosphere of the space without replacing the entire furniture layout.

This project was designed both as:
•⁠ ⁠a welcoming family environment
•⁠ ⁠and a refined Airbnb investment designed to appeal to international travelers and the Royal Palm lifestyle.

Every detail was carefully sourced to create a softer, brighter and more emotional experience connected to the natural beauty of Curaçao.

Because great interior design is not only about aesthetics.

It’s about changing the feeling of a space.

A beautiful 3D does not mean a good interior design.

Today, many people think that if it looks good in 3D, it will work in real life.

But a 3D is just an image.
It doesn’t tell you if the quality of the materials and furnitures is good and sometimes, it also provides furnitures that do not even exist !

Interior design is not about making something look nice.
It’s about making it work — in real life.

In this interior design, quality matters more than aesthetic. The furnitures and materials I proposed needed to be ecological and good for the planet, while being luxury.

A space can look beautiful… and still feel wrong.
Most of the time, it’s a lighting issue.

Good lighting is all about balance:
• General lighting → lights the whole space
• Functional lighting → made for tasks & precision
• Decorative lighting → creates mood & identity

The right light changes everything.
The wrong one ruins the experience.

If your space looks good in photos but feels off in real life… now you know why.

Beige has become a signature tone in the luxury kitchen design. Warmer and easier to pair than pure white, it creates an atmosphere that feels elegant, soft, and welcoming. As a connecting color, beige blends beautifully with noble materials such as marble, quartz, coral stone, walnut wood and gold.

Designed with and for Luigi, this pastry kitchen for La Vie en Rose by Luigi will be inspired by the elegance of the finest Parisian pastry houses and luxury palaces, combining beauty, precision, and functionality.

Guests walking through the boutique hotel of La Vie en Rose, located in the historic district of Scharloo, will not only enjoy the captivating aromas of pastries fresh from the oven, but also the beauty of the interiors, the light, and the refined design of the space.

This project will also become one of the largest private pastry kitchens in Curaçao.
