Nous explorerons plusieurs techniques de teintes sur différents textiles, et vous répartirez avec vos créations uniques, teinté botaniquement par vos soins, à l’aide de plantes, de fleurs, d’extraits de colorants et de déchets alimentaire .

The workshop with be an introduction to the method of bundle dyeing where I will go through the preparation, dyeing, modifying and care of your textiles. You’ll familiarise yourself with the technique of extracting colour from plants, flowers, extracts and food waste then transforming your fabric into something very special and unique.

You will come away with a small silk scarf, a plus the choice to dye either a cotton tote bag, a pair of cotton socks, a silk hair scrunchie or silk ribbons. To reserve your spot on this workshop simply click on the link in my bio.

Hello! With today being small business Saturday I thought what better time than now to show my face around here again!

I took a step back from this account and from posting on here since having my daughter last year. Although I was still quietly working away in the studio (albeit at a very slow irregular pace) I couldn’t bring myself to even sign into instagram and in all honesty I felt quite overwhelmed by all the messages, comments and emails I was receiving.

I’d lost some of my creativity since becoming a mother, with other life projects taking priority plus the limited spare time to dedicate to my craft it all just felt too rushed and forced. Maybe this is a common thing? Other artists can you relate?

At times I wasn’t sure whether to walk away from it all and do something new? But how do you say goodbye to something when there’s still fire left inside?

So with that I’m back! In what direction I want to continue with Marram i’m still not entirely sure but I’m taking the pressure off myself to fit it into one box and reminding myself that gosh I love what I do and that I get to call this my job. What an incredible privilege that is and one I’ll never take for granted.

With the end of the year approaching I’ll be delving into the Marram archives over the next few weeks and sharing the many proud projects I never got round to sharing because let’s be honest I’m terrible at blowing my own trumpet!

AND in response to the many messages, I will be releasing a collection of botanical silk scarves tomorrow at 8pm CET for those who have patiently be waiting (just in time for Christmas!)

So thank you for sticking around and for your continuing support. It really does mean the world to me and my small business.

Creating life ✨
I’ve been quietly working on a whole new body of work. Creating my favourite piece to date.
Things might be shifting and changing rapidly and while I’m still not quite sure exactly what form Marram will take over these coming months, I’m embracing the unknown because I simply cannot wait for this next chapter.

The slowest shop restock to date is finally here! It’s taken me a while to list all the new items in this new drop including this latest batch of aromatherapy eye pillows. I’ve made extra this time so hopefully there’ll be enough for all of you!
