The frame is vintage, so it has a few small imperfections you can see in the photos. I think this adds to its charm and gives the piece a bit of a museum-like feel, as if it were part of an old natural history display. I’ve been collecting these frames for quite a while, and they turned out to be the perfect match for this series.

Troides Paradisea • Framed and happy. This original drawing is available in my Etsy shop and comes with its frame.

This butterfly entomology plate is a one-of-a-kind, hand-drawn illustration of theTroides Paradisea couple, a species found in New Guinea. You would be the only one to own this piece. It belongs to my collection “The Entomologist”. The drawings are inspired by entomology plates, each with a small label showing the insect’s name.
