Paint Kitchen

We really can't win at the moment.
To keep my prices affordable to everyone I need to bring the value of my work down in order to keep my selling prices in an affordable range, because courier prices are now so high.
Sadly this is now the way for a lot of creatives selling large pieces of work.
I can't rely on the sales generated from local buyers or people who are willing to travel to collect the work, so transport is essential, but fuel is expensive and courier fees are having to reflect that.
There will be some changes coming to Paint Kitchen.
The name of the business will change and so will the description, as I start to work with smaller items and products that I can post more affordably.
The standards won't change, or the inventiveness or the enjoyment.
For now, please help me if you can to move the larger items, by sharing everything that goes in the sale...your help has been really appreciated so far. X

my latest listing via the Upcite selling platform

Thanks for viewing my listing..this is a small four drawer chest, with curved frontage, made from wood, with brass handles. The surfaces needed a paint treatment so I used ReColours recycled chalk paint in fabulous fuschia pink, followed by Annie Sloan's clear wax to seal it.The edges are all sanded....

Thank you to those who have been sharing my work - something is working and sales have been great this last week. Your shares really do help!
In light of getting the large items to your home, its good to visit the workshop if you're thinking of purchasing, or just viewing. Taking an item away in your own transport is much better for me, and it will cost a lot less that a courier.
This is the chart of prices I have to charge for delivering to the UK. It starts around £85, but if you need it bringing into the room its £100 for an average large item.
Parking is more often than not available on the street outside, so have a think if you do want to treat yourself to a piece of my work. I do want it to be available to everyone but I'm up against rising courier prices, which are going up with the cost of fuel.
