Preparing frames and bases today - not the most exciting job but a necessary task 💪

All my bases and frames are made by local furniture maker, Graham Duncalf, Bagby, North Yorkshire 📍

Each one made from solid hardwood, glued, screwed and jointed for extra strength.

Great to meet so many wonderful people over the weekend at the Designer Makers Market on Friday and Saturday at the fabulous Garden Rooms at Tennants, in Leyburn and Yesterdaze Artisan and Vintage in Hutton Rugby on Sunday. I loved hearing your stories and helping you decide on a style and stool that suits your home.

You may of guessed from my previous posts that I make footstools. ( I do lots of other stuff too, but that’s for another day )

I’m based in North Yorkshire.

I upholster onto solid hardwood frames made locally.

I draw out my designs and then handcraft them with care, colour and character using luxurious wool fabrics sourced in West Yorkshire.

I have over 100 colours to choose from including a stunning 100%
British Wool range in country hues.

They can be made to order and tailored to your size, style and story.
