The making of Agatha…

This lamp frame is the largest I’ve done (so far!). I wanted to play about with colour and textures so each panel has a parallel design. I embroidered a beautiful piece of satin with seed beads to enhance the paisley pattern on one side and folded burnt orange material for the other sides.

Luna is the latest in my line of Gothic/Burlesque lampshades. She was reimagined from an old second hand square lamp frame. Her corners are designed to give out more light, beneath her beautiful black lace fabric. Her name was inspired by her gold sparkly panels, portraying a dark starry night sky. She has Swarovski Crystal Cubes and handmade Swarovski Crystal chain mail, on each corner, with a gorgeous lace skirting.

She’s a must have for anyone drawn to the moon or Astrology!

This lampshade was designed out of an old secondhand plain square lamp. I don’t plan my designs as such, I just let them evolve and see where the frame takes me. 🖤
Her name was inspired by her beautiful sparkle, like a starry night sky. ✨✨✨ She’s a must have for anyone drawn to the moon or astrology. 🔮
