I may delete this page at some point this year. I've not traded for a while and my craft room has returned to being a doom room. Thanks for following and your support

I had a lovely walk around the town this evening. Was up the racecourse making the final layout plans for the event and market. Sun was shining, lovely soft breeze, was a good day. See the post for links for t!ck3t$.
Oh and excited to have 2 more alternative witchy stalls join us. Next week is going to be intensely epic!

Hello! I am part of a team organising the Viking Market at the World Double-bit axe throwing championships. Some of you know me from when I traded alongside you at LB markets (4 years). That is why I chose to host the event on my page, with Axemore, so there was familiarity and you can check out that I/we are not a scam. Unfortunately, many traders have been caught out with people pretending to host events, they take your money and then vanish. I understand why people are hesitant to book a one-off event. Absolutely do your due diligence, it won't take much to find this event on the official sporting body's website, Thirsk racecourse events calendar, Thirsk Tourist Board are supporting it, it's in the local press, local businesses are sponsoring it - it's everywhere. It's not a scam event. All of our traders have spoken to me in person or on the phone - I'm sure they are confident that we only want to raise them up and for them to do well at our event.

I am after the following stalls/food vendors:
- leather goods
- hand created crafts
- pottery
- art/photography
- tea/coffee
- pizza
- crepes
- icecream van
- bread/cheese/filled rolls

If you don't fall in to those vague categories, get in touch anyway - [email protected] or [email protected] - full details about the event can be found via the QR code or if you prefer, www.axemore.co.uk

I will start showcasing our traders, very soon - links, photos and wonderful reviews. If I don't like it, I won't book it - quality, not quantity.

Skal tack!
Naomi

Proud to be working alongside The Black Market. I've traded at their awesome NAH THEN MUSIC FESTIVAL before and know that they put on a top notch event. There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes for the World Double Bit Axe Throwing Championships and Viking Market at the World Double-bit axe throwing championships - I have lots of excellent traders for the market and still on the hunt for more. If you're interested in trading on the market or being a food vendor, please email [email protected] - cheers! www.axemore.co.uk for full details about the event and sponsorship opportunities.

We are pleased to announce The Black Market bar will be at Axemore Throwing Club Championships 2024 at Thirsk Racecourse! Providing a main bar as well as a VIP area for all the contestants and competitors 🖤

Showcasing to people from all around the world our amazing bar and brews 🍻

A fantastic site visit today and what a team to work with!!

If you know, you know 😂 There is a recording of me murdering this poem on my radio show.

Today I ventured out into the colds and went to see one of the traders booked for the Viking Market at the World Double-bit axe throwing championships. My mobile is off being repaired, so I couldn't take any photos. How strange it is, to not have a phone/camera/www in my pocket :( Anywho, if I had been able to take pictures, you'd be looking at some magnificent drinking horns, shields and all manner of Viking goodness right now. More details to follow. Next week is JORVIK Viking Festival 2024 and I'll be wondering about with flyers, trying not to buy loads of things and pillaging bearded warrior types. Trying... hahahahaha!
If you are interested in trading at this event, please get in touch ASAP - [email protected] . Cheers
