Had a fantastic weekend in Dallas!

First up was the wonderful Texas Miniature Showcase. Susie and her team put on a fantastic show, and we had an amazing weekend catching up with old friends, making new friends, and meeting lots of wonderful customers. We can’t wait to return next year!

After the show, we spent some time exploring Dallas, including the FIFA World Cup Fan Festival areas and the fascinating JFK Memorial and Museum.

To top it all off, we had to make a trip to Southfork Ranch. We both grew up watching Dallas and listening to that iconic theme tune! Andy has always been a JR fan, while I was firmly Team Bobby, so it was fantastic to see the house and all the memorabilia. We even got to sit in Bobby’s car — although it felt slightly smaller than Jock Ewing’s car!

All in all, a brilliant weekend filled with miniatures, sightseeing, memories, and plenty of Texas hospitality. Thank you, Dallas — we’ll be back!
