🦫 Two Busy Beavers 🦫

Caught on camera... although one of us wasn't aware of it! 🤫

I secretly set the camera up high in the workshop and managed to capture a day in the life of Redeemed Decor.

While I was busy turning a violet coloured bedroom set grey, Paul was hard at work re-finishing a pair of bedside tables. He had previously stripped the horrible red factory finish off. Then he had to bleach the wood before re-staining & finishing. It's really been a labour of love. I definetly got the easier job this time 😆

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to design and paint your own fabric using a variety of decorative paint techniques to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind effects. You'll then be guided step-by-step through the process of transforming your fabric into a professionally finished 30cm drum lampshade.

Your completed lampshade can be used on any standard table lamp, floor lamp, or as a ceiling shade, making it a unique addition to your home or a thoughtful handmade gift.

To make the morning even more enjoyable, we'll be serving complimentary hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and cake throughout the workshop — the perfect accompaniment to a creative Saturday morning.

Workshop Date: Saturday 27th June
Time: 10:00am – 12:30pm
Price: £69.50 per person

Here's a reel from this Saturday's furniture painting workshop. Despite the heat 🥵 everyone managed to do a wonderful job at transforming their pieces. We had a real variety of furniture - everything from mirrors to piano stalls. The students learnt several different decorative techniques including decoupage, stencil and tape design.

Hi guys,
Here is my latest commissioned piece created for  ✨

This bold and vibrant star design will be taking pride of place in their reception area — the very first thing visitors will see as they walk through the door.

Pieces like this are always so exciting to work on because they become more than just furniture — they become part of the atmosphere and vibe of a business.

I'll be stepping away from geometric commissions for a little while, as I'm working on some other exciting developments of the business.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of hosting a "Paint & Make Table Lamp Workshop" The ladies designed their own fabric using different techniques including stencils, sponging, taping, stamping and also freehand painting. They then assembled their painted panels into fully working table lamps.
Such a fun & creative morning was had by all ☺️

Hey guys,
Here are some still shots of the last commission piece I created. This has now been delivered to it's new home in Somerset (see last photo) One of the hardest things in creating such a big piece with sooo many different colours, shapes & sizes is getting the overall balance right, so it looks pleasing to the eye. This isn't something that I pre plan but I decide as I go along.
It gets really hard towards the end and sometimes I have to sit and look at it for ages, trying to decide on those last few colour placements.

I'm very excited to be collaborating with East Enders star, Kellie Bright. We'll be hosting a furniture painting workshop from Kellies studio in St.Albans on Saturday 23rd May. All you need to do is find yourself a small piece of furniture that's in need of some TLC. For bookings and more information, head over to and get signed up. Well what a wonderful day we've had with this fabulous bunch of ladies. Back in Feburary I was asked to speak at my local WI group about my journey into upcycling and how I've turned it into a thriving business. The ladies were very inspired and decided to book themselves onto one of our day courses and give it ago themselves. As you can see, it was a very productive day and everyone went home with a uniquely transformed piece of furniture.
They enjoyed it so much, that they're going to be joining up to our club sessions very soon 🤗🖌
