Good morning,

A closer look at new cards today, I sourced artwork from the vintage regency public domain collections and find learning about new artist really enjoyable!

I’ve enjoyed seeing how the artwork works at this smaller size the colours, the paper and the details you notice when you hold one in your hand.

If you’re choosing a card for someone, do you look for a picture they’ll love, or words that say what you want to say?

I’m leaving these blank but would your prefer a message printed?

A new weekend and still working hard on my new direction!

I’ve not managed to get back in the water since my holiday, and I’m really missing it!

Between diabetes reviews, medical appointments and general health checks, the weeks seem to have disappeared, and trying to fit a swim in around everything has been harder than I expected.

I miss the water, the swimming itself, and especially that lovely feeling afterwards when you feel like you’ve had a proper reset.

It’s funny how something that was such a regular part of my week can suddenly become so difficult to fit in.

I’m hoping to get back to my weekly swims soon. I think I’ll appreciate that first dip back even more!

Has anyone else had a longer break from swimming than they’d planned? 🏊‍♀️🐚

Good morning,

The new Literary Coast collection is now in my store! Four coastal artworks paired with words from Jane Austen.

I’ve really enjoyed curating this collection, researching the paintings and Jane Austen’s words, looking closely at each print and choosing which pieces to pair together. That process has been one of my favourite parts of creating it.

Wild Water Sands has a new name 🌿🌊

Welcome to Saltmarsh and Linen.

When I started Wild Water Sands, I made art for swimmers. But over time I realised the people who loved my work weren't only the ones who went in. They were the ones who walked the shoreline, kept shells on the windowsill, and felt themselves settle the moment they saw the sea.

So the shop has grown to meet you.

The name comes from the Essex coast, where the saltmarshes meet the countryside, and linen for the soft, lived-in comfort of home.

You'll still find my original art and notecards, and over the coming months I'll be adding coastal country prints, framed shells and soft furnishings to bring the coast into your home.

Same maker, same love of the water, just a little more room to breathe.

A parcel to get ready today—the framed ‘First Steps In’ print for my prize draw winner.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to answer my survey. Hearing what you’d like to see has been useful as I work on the next stage of Wild Water Sands.

There’s something lovely about seeing a piece leave my kitchen studio and head to someone’s home.

Monday is here,

Another new week, do you have plans? I’m finishing orders over Ribbonaire Sands then I’m working on listing new items! Hopefully videoing all my new art work I’ve printed and my cards too!
