Lots to still do in the studio in preparation for . Today I am working on my displays for the pretty pick and mix flowers, I have decided to arrange them in these cute terracotta flowerpots. I have also bunched together 50 lovely flower posies curated with coordinating colours and style’s in gorgeous glass bottles as an easy gift for any flower lover. Tomorrow is my last day to put everything together, unload the kiln and finish any last pieces, fingers crossed all fits in my little car.

While the kiln is cooling down I am grabbing this down time to prepare and stamp my gift bags for the event next week. This year I am also creating a special discount code for my online shop, for all the lovely customers who visit me at the event.

Today my studio task was to apply wire stems to the 400 little flowers I have made for . The photos show them at the various stages of construction. They take approx. 10 days to make from start to finish, but they are definitely worth it. Hope you like them 🌼 ❤️

Only 8 days to go until at Hatfield starts. The studio is a little chaotic at the moment with pieces drying ready for bisque firing, pieces glazed waiting for their glaze firing and hundreds of little ceramic flowers waiting to be wired. I am running out of table space. Super excited to be attending again and as always want to bring some new creations to the event, no pressure. I’ll be posting my daily makes leading upto the event 😜 ❤️

My last event of the year , at the amazing Merriments Makers Market. Looking forward to spending the day with talented makers and artisans, helping the friendly visitors with special gift ideas, listening to festive tunes by the Bodiam concert band and having a mince pie or 2.
