🍄✨ Mushroom making in the studio! ✨🍄

I’ve been busy in my studio creating a whole new range of ceramic mushrooms ready for the craft events and fungi festivals coming up over the next couple of months. It’s nice to create something new for each event, so I’ve expanded my collection this year, there’s now something for everyone — from delicate hanging decorative mushrooms, to little mushrooms to pop into plant pots, colourful pieces on wire stakes, and fungi families displayed on decorative pieces of wood.

🍄🌿 I love creating pieces inspired by nature, and mushrooms/fungi are such a wonderful subject — quirky, mysterious, beautiful and full of woodland magic. I can’t wait to take my growing mushroom collection along to the upcoming markets and fungi festivals, my next event is on 26th Sept and on 10/11th Oct fungi festival. 🤎🍄

Hot day today setting up my exhibition space in the Kent Art Quarter of the ,it took quite a bit longer than this but pleased with the space. Looking forward to being here over the next few days.

I spent all day yesterday trying to decide which artworks to take to , I am exhibiting with the Kent Art Quarter in the John Hendry Pavilion. A marquee packed with artworks from 23 amazing artists and 4 fantastic galleries including the lovely .iles.gallery . If you want to pop along please contact as I have a discount code for entry tickets. There will be demonstrations throughout the day and a little vintage tea room where so you can rehydrate . 😊

Lots to still do in the studio in preparation for . Today I am working on my displays for the pretty pick and mix flowers, I have decided to arrange them in these cute terracotta flowerpots. I have also bunched together 50 lovely flower posies curated with coordinating colours and style’s in gorgeous glass bottles as an easy gift for any flower lover. Tomorrow is my last day to put everything together, unload the kiln and finish any last pieces, fingers crossed all fits in my little car.

While the kiln is cooling down I am grabbing this down time to prepare and stamp my gift bags for the event next week. ...
