"The Barnsbury Road reveal almost looked completely different."

Our first instinct on this project was to go bolder: a feature wall, more layers, more colour. Then we walked into the room on a Tuesday morning when the light was coming through those original sash windows and we stopped.

The room told us exactly what it needed, and it wasn't more. We pulled back the brief, chose every piece with surgical precision, and trusted the Georgian architecture to carry the weight.

We’ll be honest.

When we first walked into Berwick Garden Centre’s café, it didn’t feel like a café.

The flooring resembled a hospital.
The lighting belonged in a motorway service station.
The counter dominated the room.

And yet, it was one of the busiest hubs in the area.

That’s the opportunity most people overlook.
