A little snippet of what we go up to last week!
1. New hearth, liner and stove all in and commissioned.
This is just waiting for the wall to be plastered then we will be back to finish it off with a lovely cast wood effect beam
2. Open fire conversion. No more losing heat up the chimney from and inefficient open fire. Brand new log burner installed ready for the colder months
3. This is not how your chimney liner should look.
This highlights why chimney sweeping and stove maintenance is so important. Well Swept Chimney Sweep found the issue on this while sweeping and we was straight on the case to get it sorted.
4. That’s better! New liner and clean chimney back working how it should be and most importantly safely.
5 & 6 We removed the old gas fire that’s was here to install the log burner. The client had the vision of rebuilding the fireplace as similar as we can with the new fire in place.
