Hey everyone,

So it's looking pretty likely I'll be closing the shop. Hopefully it'll just be for the duration of my cancer treatment, however long that is.

I love running the shop but it's just a lot on top of treatment and fees are just making it unworkable on the platform.

I'll be holding a massive sale on here hopefully starting later today. Loads of stuff will be half price or less.

There's a ton of gorgeous new stuff that hasn't even been posted in the shop yet 🤤🤤🤤 so these items will be going up too!

I'm hoping to reopen on a different platform if/when treatment finishes but in the meantime I'll be posting up here

Right, time to start doing social media things. How? Don't know 🤣

Just had a ridiculous amount of gorgeous new stuff in. So I'll put some previews up. I'm definitely keeping the shop open as long as I can but the fees are so high I'm going to put items for sale daily on here so I can pass on some super discounts.

I'll also be taking preorders on here aswell. Loads of changes to come but good ones!

Hiya

Hope you're good. Chemo starts on Thursday and I don't really know how I'll feel on it. Ill be making every effort to keep the shop open but If it's really rough I might have to put on holiday settings the first week of each cycle if I'm unable to get post ready and stuff. I won't really know until the end of the week what things will look like.

Any orders placed between now and 8pm on Wednesday will go out before the potential close.

Also feel free to order via PM as it would be at a decent discount if I'm not paying fees/commission, I can pass that on.

Hi everyone!

So just a quick update about the shop. My treatment plan has changed so it looks like I'm having months of chemotherapy.

I have every intention of keeping the shop open at least to some degree throughout treatment but it probably will be pretty disruptive so I may have to put the shop on holiday settings the first week of each cycle.

I'll also be having sales on here now I'm a bit more organised.

I've got some amazing new stuff coming too 🤤

Title: *IMPORTANT SHOP UPDATE*

Hi and a huge thanks to all my amazing shop followers.

First of all I would like to thank you for your purchases since I opened my shop. I’m really grateful for your support for my small business and every transaction means the world to me.

I am reaching out to you all today with an important update concerning my health and the ongoing management of Follow That Goose.

For the last six years, I have had some significant and worsening health problems, and I recently found out that I have cancer, which has been missed and remained undiagnosed, and therefor unmanaged and untreated, for all this time.
Because of the discovery of my symptoms being due to cancer, I have recently had to deal with a lot of short notice medical appointments, scans, tests and referrals etc, as well as actually mentally processing the diagnosis and my potential prognosis for the future. I am sure you can all empathise that it has been a difficult and scary time for me, but running the shop has been my escape and continues to be my passion!

You’ll be glad to know the shop is remaining open (yay!) but considering the increase in my personal commitments, I am often using my full advertised processing time now and taking longer to reply to messages and enquiries. This means that rather than posting the very next day, sometimes it’s taking me a couple of days to package orders but I will always do my best to accommodate quick turnarounds with advanced notice. Follow That Goose really means the world to me as a business and customer experience is still important to me, only second to offering my top quality curated collection of products in the shop!
