When you decide you're going to try and sort out the tiny bits of silk from the carrier rods that you dyed and realized that brown is actually many colors and they're separating them is a job in and of itself.

So I've posted a lot of photos today because I realized I hadn't sent any of the ones that I've taken since mid-august and keep putting it off until I have time. Not a lot of context on those ones. I made a dye from some acorns and the color that came out was really pale but I was expecting that I don't have any iron water to shift the color but it was fun to experiment with. There's also a picture of me at empire and Leo and I out at a restaurant for our wedding anniversary. Over the last few days I've just made two bits of fabric using mostly in its natural colors.
