Restaurant style Kung Pao Chicken with garlic rice by | Sizzlers by Zaib
Ramzan Series | Recipe 14
*Chicken marination:-
-1/2 kg boneless chicken cubes
-1 teaspoon vinegar
-2 tablespoons soya sauce
-half egg
-half teaspoon salt Or to taste
-1/4 tsp white pepper powder
-1 to 2 pinch yellow food color
-1/2 cup cornflour
Method:-
-Add above all ingredients in a bowl mix well and let it marinate for 1-2 hours After 1 to 2 hours
take a pan add oil and deep fry marinated chicken.
*Sauce:-
-1/2 cup oil
-1/2 Tbsp chopped ginger
-half cup capsicum ( cubes )
-half cup of onion (cubes)
-1/4 cup soya sauce
-1 Tbsp chili sauce
-1/4 cup oyster sauce
-1 Tbsp sriracha sauce
-1/2 Tbsp black pepper powder
-1/4 teaspoon salt Or to taste
-1/2 Tbsp crushed red chili
-1/4 cup spring onion
-fried cashew nuts or peanuts
Method:-
-Heat oil in a pan add chopped ginger and fry it till it turns light brown .add capsicum,onion and mix it well .
-Now add soya sauce add fried chicken and mix well then add chili sauce ,oyster sauce,sriracha sauce,black pepper powder,salt,crushed red chili and cook until it thickens. Add spring onion and cashew nuts or peanuts .
-Ideally, this contains peanuts, but I have a peanut allergy, so that’s why I added cashews instead. sprinkle some sesame seeds, Kang Pao Chicken is ready.
*Garlic rice:-
-1/2 cup oil
-1-2 tbsp chopped garlic
-4 cups boiled rice
-1/2 Tbsp chicken powder add
-2 tbsp spring onion
Method:-
-Take a pan and add oil,chopped garlic and fry it till it turns light brown
-Add boiled rice, chicken powder ,spring onion &
mix well . dum for 5-10 minutes .
-Kang Pao Chicken with Garlic Rice is ready.
