We make this trip every 3/4 months for a hospital appointment.
My amazing husband drives us there and back in 1 day.

I spoke to my local pub about starting a monthly knit and natter, and they’ve said yes!
Our first meet-up will be the last Tuesday in May, and then every last Tuesday of the month after that.
If you’re local, pop in, say hi, bring your knitting or crochet, and join us for a good chin wag and maybe a cheeky drink too

A special coffin spray for my beautiful Nan. 💜

Every lily was hand crocheted with love, surrounded by bright yellow roses and soft greenery — colours that felt full of warmth, love and light, just like her.

Making this was emotional in so many ways. Each stitch carried memories, love, and the heartbreak of missing someone so deeply. Grief really does come in waves, but creating something so personal for her felt like one final hug from me to her.

I’m so proud that I could make something unique and meaningful to honour her life.

It’s been a little quiet on here lately… and I just wanted to check in 💛

Life has definitely been lifeing, and I sadly lost my nan — someone who meant the absolute world to me. It’s been a really difficult time, so I’ve taken a step back to process everything.

That said, I haven’t put my hook down completely 🧶 I’ve still been crocheting in the background, finding a bit of comfort in the stitches.

I’ll be sharing my latest make very soon, and I’m really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things with you all.

Lately I’ve been reminded how easily mental health can take over and how hard it can be to keep the normal rhythm of life going when you’re feeling low. Even the little things can feel like a lot.

I’m really grateful for the support system I have—people who understand what I need and stand by me. I try to stay open about my mental health because I truly believe talking about it helps.

Today, putting up my Christmas tree and decorations brought me a moment of real happiness, and I’m taking that as a win for the day. 🎄✨

If you’re struggling, please remember: you’re never on your own. It’s okay not to be okay. ❤️
