Morning
So I was wasn’t going to tell anyone really about this till fully in the new year and keep convincing myself I’m ‘soft launching’ (an excuse really lol) but then thought what actually am I waiting for (other than of course all the marketing bits and pieces needed and the interior course ahead in 2022!). But I’m finally realising it’s a marathon not a sprint.
So for now… this is my new venture (or project as I like to call it!)
As most you know, the past 4 or so years I’ve taken a little step back from my career as such. A lucky position to be in I know, but this is something again for me as the babes are rapidly growing very quickly! So without the waffle (or just a little 😄), I’ve always loved sitting for hours addictively looking at interiors and dreaming of all the things I’d do to our house. So this came alive, when and many friends always said to me do something you love, which I know is a fortunate place to be.
HomeStylebyGem is all about offering a helping hand to people who don’t necessarily have the time in their lives to style their home, or even those who openly say they don’t have the vision or just generally need that extra hand to finish that room that just never gets finished. We all have them! Whether it be creating moodboards for you for inspiration, to providing you with a proposed interior shopping list to the full start to finish complete room. I’m in no way an interior designer and am very early days but you gotta start somewhere hey. Basically, I see it as a partnership working with you and making it right for you with importantly your agreed budget. I’ve always said it, taste is subjective but what’s important is it’s your home. It can be quite an overwhelming task, especially if you don’t enjoy it! I like to compare it to a wedding, so much to choose from and where to begin! It’s early days, but for now I’d love if you can please follow my page and see me on my journey. It’s mainly an inspo page for now.
