I have met a lot of lovely people doing this job and Ellie was one of the first. I think I basically forced my friendship on her by constantly replying to her insta stories after she photographed a wedding of mine.

Despite taking videos of myself I’ve always felt awkward having my photo taken. However, Ellie made me feel so at ease and I just cannot believe how good these are!!! How lucky am I to know such talented people.

Obviously, Bill also had to have his own little photoshoot as an integral part of the team 🧡

This week has been busy and this was the only ‘content’ I captured. Most of it is actually of my bum as apparently I don’t know how to use camera angles effectively.

Anyone feel like they’re crawling to the end of season finish line? Seeing some lovely flower friends yesterday and having a good chat definitely helped.

This weekend I will be sowing ready for 2027. I’m behind but better late than never and I know it’ll make the start of next season easier!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

August has felt like a month of two halves for me.
A (continued) dry start, busy with weddings and trying to keep the field from getting even more crispy. To a couple of short holidays and the return of cooler, wetter weather.
I feel like I have finally caught my breath over the last few days just in time for the madness of September.
So many lovely flowery events still to come this year and then the process of getting the field ready for 2027 🧡
There is never a good time to take a break from this job but I’m glad I have.

I’m so excited to finally share my Christmas wreath workshop dates for this year.

These workshops bring me a huge amount of joy and I can’t wait to celebrate the festive season with you.

We’ll use British grown foliage and Bradwell grown dried flowers to create some beautiful and unique Christmas wreaths.

Booking is made through my website - please message directly if you’d like to reserve a space and split your payment.

I popped up to the flower patch this morning to see how everything was looking after we finally had some rain! LOTS of weeds, LOTS of seeds but also LOTS of lovely flowers. I would say ‘don’t look at the crispy bits’ but that’s the reality of growing this year!

This is a busy time of year as a florist and grower as I look to prepare for 2027 while still keeping this year’s beautiful flowers going.

Thanks to being a part of GROW club I am much better at prioritizing what needs to actually be done. This week in the field, it’s focusing on dead-heading and getting a couple of beds ready to plant out my biennials.

A&F in South London 💚

One of my favourite days this summer creating a textural meadow full of British-grown stems. Thank you so much for trusting me to bring your ideas to life!

I’m now fully booked for June 2027 weddings with only one or two spaces left for July and May. Visit my website to contact me for a consultation and let’s talk beautiful, sustainable wedding flowers!

A snapshot of summer. As I take a mid-season rest (and listen to the rain!!) I am reflecting on my busiest summer yet. Full of gorgeous weddings, bouquets for special moments and LOTS OF FLOWERS.

What does it mean to work with a seasonal flower grower and florist?

I only use my own Peak District-grown or British-sourced flowers from farmers I trust. No pesticides. No air miles. Just flowers grown and cut with care.

What does this mean for you?
Every arrangement is truly unique to you as a couple and celebrates the season of your marriage. You’ll have flowers with scent and beautiful movement which add that extra bit of joy to your day.

My books are open for 2027 weddings and I’d love to hear from you 🧡
