Defo not my best week. Feeling very sorry for myself. I’m sick of dry toast now. Tried stewed apple but tummy still not quite right. Even a cup of tea does not sit right. I’m 56 and with my head down the great white telephone all I could think was “I need my mum”. Oh well. Onwards and upwards.

Day 12/365. Sunday. Jackie agreed to swim and we also met on our way home. So I videoed her swim for her. We did 9 mins. 250m. Temp 2.6. Air temp a gorgeous 7 degrees. The lake was beautiful. We stood and watched the cormorant doing his thing. He is so beautiful to watch. Before home and a dog stroll. Mentally this is really hard for me at the moment. And normally I the one pushing the envelope and going@for it, I know this will pass, and that even if im@not doing what I was doing before, I am still doing it. Being out in nature and getting into that water is turning off the loudness of the voices in my head. I’m excercising whilst supporting the painful bits, and kinda tuning out the world. Which is good. Onwards and upwards. ❄️💧😀

Definitely chilly. Really struggling at the moment. The black dog has it well and truly in its grip. Joy is nowhere to be found. But I am determined to keep going. Some pretty big crappy things on the horizon which are causing this … but I know I can get through. Anyway dip 11/365 in the tub. 2.1 degrees. 8 mins tonight. .
