Lately I felt more motivated to push through with my business. Today I'm starting the book "The artist's way", one that seems to have helped many creative minds to get clarity. I'm grateful to receive it and to be part of a group that's motivating me, as we are all reading it and following the assignments.

How is your creative journey going? Do you find easy to navigate it?

Join me in speaking up for the animals!🌸

Almost 85.4 billion animals are killed worldwide for the meat and diary industry.
Many people stand again oppression, violence, rasism but they stop when it comes to their plate. I was there too, for 26 years I loved that life. One day I saw a street campaign that exposed footage of the horrific violence that animals receive on farms, beaten by workers on rider to obey, cows r***d to keep milk production going, calves stolen fork their mothers sometimes on the same day when they are born.

No one is free until we are all free. We live in this dystopian world, thinking we are cool, strong, powerful, all of them are just tricks of the ego over our mind.

Now is our time to do something, now is the time to show we care! We hear them and we love them and that's why we don't eat them! And if you are not vegan yet but are a vegetarian or just a person who loves animals and wants to engage with this event, join us! Let's have some genuine conversations and eat some cruelty free food, listen to some good music and do some activism! Because speaking up is what has lead us to changes and we need to do more of it!

In the world that seems more chaotic every day, I still got faith. I am thankfull for my work, I'm thankful for being able to use my skills to bring joy into this world.

The more chaos exists, the more we need art. Art is our tool to feel alive, it is the purest form of joy.
Research studies show that we need art to bond, build confidence, preserve skills and stay curious. Weekly art activities have been connected with reducing depression, anxiety and stress.

"A longitudinal study in Japan also showed that people who engaged in artistic activities, like crafts or painting, at one point in time had less cognitive impairment later than those who didn’t, which again supports a direct effect of art on well-being"."

" Engaging with art can heal as well as inform. Exposure to art that depicts the real world can lower blood pressure, while mindfulness-based art therapy reduces anxiety and depression in people with coronary artery disease. In workplaces and wellness spaces, art displays and interactive workshops may reduce stress." https://www.health.harvard.edu/heart-health/the-art-of-the-heart

Why do need to keep showing up?

We live today in a very challenging time where we can easily feel like whatever we are doing is not helping.

War, famine, violence, corruption, hundreds of millions of animals are slaughtered daily for the meat and dairy industry (yes, being vegetarian doesn't help that much as diary is a byproduct of this).

I often feel like what I do is not helping until I'm in a space where people see the value of my art, they receive the messages, they enjoy the workshops, they share how they feel during my sessions: seen and supported.

As a student back home in Romania, I focused on attending protests thinking this was the only way to bring a change. When I moved to England and later on, Norway, I realized change comes from the way you look at life. Yes, letters to MPs are important, speaking up and raising awareness so people can hear about the information that mass media intentionally hides from the public is also very important. Equally to this, nurturing ourselves beyond the survival needs is crucial. This is today a privilege, and so it needs to be honoured with gratitude.

Doing any kind of community work, hosting events giving up space for meetings, running sessions where people can relax and create, co-creating safe spaces for expression are very important. We need these so the community can come together and address the issues that we have, so we can share coping mechanisms, so we can inspire each other to be more creative in day to day life. The system exists only because the people are funding it with money, energy and submissive attitude. is about taking the power back and co-creating the world we want to live in.

Change can involve reflecting on our choices, being more mindful of the products we buy and companies we support, getting educated, going vegan, upcyling your resources, mending your clothes.

I will continue to create and speak up for as long as I'm alive. Not because I am in an immigrant with a heart torn between 2 lands, but because I seek to love life everyday, because I choose to believe in love and I know . Because Babylon is falling already.

Spring is here, so let's craft! 💕

Take a break to rest your mind! Come and create something unique, that you could keep for yourself or give as a gift to a loved one. We will be making heart-shaped ornaments, with stitched details, ribbons and tassels.

We are gathering not only to stitch, but to co-create a safe space for expression, for sharing our presence and thoughts. Maybe the latest news got you overwhelmed, maybe you just wish to do something fun or just meet other creative people.

The community needs to come together, stronger than ever. In this process of unity, art comes to open a path.

The workshop includes a short meditation, the craft session of 2.5 hours, and a gentle networking circle. Everyone is welcome, especially the diaspora community. Please do your best to arrive on time as we plan to start at 2 pm sharp.
