How are you all Wintering? I love this slow season, where we go inwards and sit with our inner landscape. If you’d like to treat yourself to a winter pick-me-up then now is the perfect time to get your orders in for Imbolc, which falls this year on 1st Feb. Half way between the Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, this candle holds a beautifully earthy, woody and grounding scent, marking the land waking up and our seeds of intention budding through 🌱🪵🍃

The scent takes me straight to a deep dark woodland, carpeted with mossy trees and wet soil awaiting new growth 🌲

This is the last in the darker months collection before the lighter spring/summer scents in the range start. As always, there’s free delivery on orders over £50 so why not grab an Ostara too? (If you’d like the Ostara in a pink jar just pop a comment in the order saying Pink Ostara).

My Yule candle in the range celebrates the winter solstice, where we reach the longest hours of darkness before welcoming the slow return of the light.

It is scented like a winter forest, filled with pine trees blanketed in snow. 🌲

Out of the whole year, midwinter will forever be my favourite. I love the darkness, our shadows, our subconscious psyche. The unapologetic slowing down of nature. The need to rest and retreat away from the world.

What better way to honour the time for stillness and reflection than by candlelight 🕯

Samhain Blessings friends 🖤 Entering the darkness is a natural part of our cycle, both in terms of physical light and dark, but also in emotional terms of our strengths and our shadows.

Our strengths are only really born out of our shadows, we grow when we’re uncomfortable, we gain wisdom through our trials, we build resilience through rejection…

The darkness isn’t to be feared, it’s the cave that holds our emotional treasures when we are brave enough to enter.

As we continue descending towards winter, perhaps now is the time to acknowledge your own emotional shadows and sit with them. I know many emotions are uncomfortable to feel, but they are all just messengers from your soul, there for your evolution onwards.
