What a month!
I taught over 140 people how to make Shiny Shoes in person💜
First time in Exmouth at to sold out shows.
Lots of Hen parties, birthdays and Bristol workshops!
Back to Manchester for even more workshops than before.
First Louboutin’s at a workshop.
Went to see at Bristol O2
Became obsessed with getting the knots out of My Little Pony’s hair that I accidentally bought ….a new passion has been ignited 😂
I’m going to make an effort to do a round up at the end of every month …for my own diary and because sometimes the things you post to stories are just raw and run….even though I adore shiny things….not everything needs to be polished …I just love real life ….as you can see as half the text is missing ….ill roll with it anyway 😂😂😂

3 years ago I was turned down for The great Interior designs Show and it was the best thing ever.
I had been holding off responding to an email until I had got through the final auditions and because I really thought I was going to make it 🤣🤣🤣 Once I received the phone call letting me know I hadn’t made the show I opened that email and responded back to this new opportunity of joining a sustainable department store…..and it was the best thing that has ever happened!!

Sparks is 3 years old this weekend and what started out as an Alice in Wasteland art installation has turned into an unusual mix of retail and workshop space ….I know every one says retail is dead but maybe it just needs a rebrand!

It’s hard as a Sole trader to keep up the momentum of opening up a shop everyday so the shared community we have developed over the years has really worked for us….we operate a shared till with everyone taking a turn on the the till or paying someone to do it….so that frees you up to create.
This was just an empty shell after M&S left and the two charities and goals work tirelessly to keep it open ……if your looking for a space for an event or somewhere to sell from get in touch with and apply….if you can do it with friends even better!!!
