Don’t worry there are 694231852 things I LOVE about interior design ;-)

But we don’t have to simply accept the status quo. We get to take action and make positive change. Especially the point about toxic fire retardant chems in furniture (and our indoor air, penguins, and breastmilk as a result). You can contribute to a government consultation about that right now, up until June 23rd and get UK law changed so we can have natural, healthy and safe sofas instead of ones that secretly poison us and everything around!

When its time to redecorate, but this time with feeling…

When you’re ready to say goodbye to a life lived in beige, greige or magnolia, but you can’t seem to get past the barely-noticeable end of the colour chart, then its time to book onto my COLOUR masterclass.

Because you can’t expect to copy from a vibrant instagram interior and paste it onto your home if you don’t have the confidence to carry it.
You can’t borrow someone else’s colour scheme and expect it to feel right for you. if you don’t know what lights you up or how to APPLY it to your particular property.

While paint charts are brilliantly laid out to show you what ‘goes together’ (basically 5 or 6 shades of the same hue), if you want anything more creative, colourful and joyful than that, you need to take a few calculated risks.

That means leaning into the vibe you want, understanding how colour behaves in three dimensions and trusting you own innate taste and discernment.

The only way to create a colour scheme you feel comfortable with is to trust your own taste and artistic instinct, because neither ai, B&Q staff or interior influencers can hope to help you listen to what your body already knows about colour. They might know what objectively ‘looks good’ in photos according to paint brands and The Internet. But they can’t connect you with your gut or get inside your mind’s eye.

I design for practicality and beauty, but with a sense of story.

I don’t follow fashion. I come from art, craft, theatre design, style history and creativity. Not commerce.

I care about all people and our planet, and know they are linked.
