Today’s the day. 🩷

September begins, and so does my 100 Push-Ups a Day Challenge for Cancer Research UK.

Cancer Research UK is a cause that genuinely matters to me, and I’m proud to be doing my small part to support the research that gives people more answers, more hope and more time.

A huge THANK YOU to all who supported me so far!

So here we go. Day 1. 100 today. Only 2,900 to go 😂💪🏽❤️

If you’d like to support the challenge, the fundraising link is in my bio. QR code in the post. Every donation really does mean something.

The Last of Summer, Still in the Air

You can feel the season beginning to turn.

The mornings arrive a little cooler. The light has softened. Even the garden feels different, less exuberant somehow, but no less beautiful.

Summer never disappears all at once. It lingers in scent.

In flowers still carrying their fragrance into the warmest part of the day. In crushed green leaves, citrus, herbs warmed by the sun, jasmine drifting through an open window. In that unmistakable freshness of a garden that has spent months alive.

This is the part of summer I love most, when you start noticing it because you know it won’t be here forever.

So for a little longer, I’m keeping those scents close. The Garden Collection is on sale now.

Chândani - jasmine, magnolia and violet.
Fayola - hyacinth, gardenia and soft white florals.
Mächtige Frau - pink grapefruit, mimosa and verbena.
Rosabella - rose leaf, Mediterranean greens, herbs and a trace of sea air.

Four different ways of holding onto the season while it is still beautifully here.

I talk a lot about ritual.

The small things we return to, habits we build, the things we repeat with intention until they become part of how we live.

This September, my ritual will look a little different.

100 push-ups a day, every day, for Cancer Research UK.

This September, I’m taking on 100 push-ups a day for Cancer Research UK. I’ve already started training because, quite frankly, I probably need it 😂.

There’s something beautifully simple about it. The same movement, repeated. Showing up each day. Strength built slowly. But this time, every repetition carries a purpose beyond me.

But for me, this is about more than the physical side of it. It’s about putting effort behind something that matters, and in my own small way honouring the strength, dedication and work that so often happens quietly and unseen.

What would normally be another set of push-ups now carries a little more meaning.

Cancer Research UK funds work that can change, extend and save lives. I wanted to take something I genuinely love, and pushing myself and use it to contribute to something far bigger than me.

So,
💪🏽3,000 push-ups.
🍂30 days.
🫶🏽One day at a time.

Every push-up counts. Every donation does too.

Come with me on this one, donate, share or simply cheer us on!

See link below or in bio if you’d like to support. ❤️

I believe that a good life is built through small returns.

The same morning stretch.
The same cup of tea.
The same scent in a room.

These rituals seem insignificant, yet they become signals to the body.

You are safe.
You are here.
A new day has begun.
A new gift, 24 hours of life!

What we practise repeatedly becomes our way of being.

Our habits become our atmosphere and mood.

Our mood is what we carry into the world each day, quietly radiating either light or heaviness into everything we touch.

Five natural things to turn to.

Not a doctrine and not a shopping list. Five decisions I’ve found worth making, each small enough to make today.

Choosing the natural version of a thing is not virtue, and it is certainly not fear. It is that natural materials behave the way the body expects them to. Plant wax burns cooler because it was never built to burn fast. Food eaten in its season is denser because it was picked ripe. Scent carried on plant oil unfolds slowly because nothing was added to hurry it.

The return is quiet, which is why it gets missed. Better air, better sleep, a room that feels different without announcing why. No single one changes a life. Repeated for years, they are most of what a life is made from.
