As the fog begins to clear sunlight seeps between the trees,
Lichen sparkles and the birds chirp away,
There is a fresh feeling in the air of renewal and a new leaf being turned over,
The earth beneath my feet remains thick and sludgy but I continue trudging through, knowing change is coming.

Eight new original works on paper just hit the website! So happy with these and hope they find some beautiful new homes.

I’ve enjoyed exploring new processes and experimenting in the studio a lot lately. There were many failures on the way to creating these and some of these I was unsure if even to put up for sale but I’m trying to just throw myself out there a little more lately.
Would love to hear which are your favourites as this is a bit of a new direction that I hope to continue in.

As another heatwave approaches, now seems like a good time to reminisce about painting this canvas last summer. I feel like this painting was a bit of a turning point for me in terms of mindset with my work, allowing myself to be bolder and messier with paint, to leave things unpolished and a little chaotic because that is exactly how life is a lot of the time and I want my art to reflect those true qualities of life.

As the title quite literally suggests, it was also a homage to the chains of sycamore seeds growing and dropping all around at this time of year. I’ve yet to start my summer painting for this year but I can’t wait to get my teeth into it! Currently don’t have the funds to even buy the canvas so if anyone wants to buy this one that’d be real helpful 😜

Some tasty texture shots of one of my recent paintings currently still up for sale, ‘Lost in Spring’ painted last spring during a turbulent time with a lot of changes and unsettled emotions to be grappled with. The title Lost in Spring communicates this feeling of trying to re-find myself, see a way through foggy situations whilst remembering the ground will always be there to catch me.

As my work is becoming more heavily centred on texture and large scale, it’s really hard to portray the depth and vibration of a painting in teeny little Instagram photos. So if you’d like to see any of my works in person, hit me up to arrange a visit to my studio in Bristol!

Hello new painting on the website! 👋🏻🌼
This one is called Pollen and I did it in spring 2023 and then life got in the way and it never became available, until now! Inspired by the beautiful yellow rapeseed flowers, at least I’m releasing it at the right time of year! 😅

To anyone who’s been waiting for my shop to reopen I can only apologise the redecoration of the new home studio is taking its time so it has been quite delayed. HOWEVER paintings I can send!
