People often ask how I find commission work. The truth is that having a retail presence does so much more than provide a place to sell my home decor pieces.

Louise and Stuart moved to Westgate in the summer and dropped into to ask if the team could recommend a furniture painter. They suggested me, showed them my retail space, and that's how my 3 week upcycling project for the couple began!

As a newly established CIC, we are running an open call art event throughout October.

What postcard would you send from Ramsgate? To enter the exhibition, create your very own original art piece in postcard size and send a photo to [email protected] by 21st September.

It’s fantastic to see so many local businesses, organisations and community groups coming together to support Thanet Independents Day. It’s this spirit of collaboration that helps make the event such a great celebration of our local community.

And this year, I am joining in with my locally produced handmade and upcycled home decor.

Delighted to share that:

Academy FM will be playing music throughout the day near Primark

Local mayors will be joining us at 10am.

Sports Connect are once again bringing their Soccerena – offering free sports activities..

T50 Boxing & Phases Pole & Aerial Studio will be putting on demonstrations.

My Little Dream Events will once again host a free princess meet & greet from 11am, which is always extremely popular with families.

Kent Association for the Blind will be bringing their IRIS site information bus.

There’ll also be a traditional swing chair ride and bungee trampolines to keep the children entertained.

And, of course, alongside our craft, gift and information stalls, there’ll be plenty of delicious treats, including cakes, fudge, sweets and savouries!

Lovely Fayre in Adisham today in the heart of Kent. Tractors, drink, craft stalls, vintage cars, BBQ, raffle, dog show, cakes, shakes, toys, games and live music too.
And it's sunny!

Lots of new products from me at the fayre tomorrow - mirrors, wall art, cards, and more And loads of other stallholders to browse and fun to be had. Dog show, food, drink, and entertainment including Turnip Tossing and Welly Wanging
