Guys….could this be THE ONE??✨

Outside was a construction site complete with banging, sawing, drilling - every single annoying sound you could think of. But…

This area was quite new and had only been around for about 1.5 years so everything was quite new and still in development. The construction would only go on until November so 5 more months of this ghastly noise then business as usual. Plus the house was pretty sound proof.

Thailand so far!

I’ve seen a done so many things so far and I’m in love with discovering new things and places on the daily.

Thankfully I’m so lucky I get to spend half of my day wondering around and seeing what Thailand has on offer 😍

Here’s House 5! I really wanted this to be the one. I really did but there were a few things that gave me the ick. Am I being too fussy? Would you have rented this house??

And here’s another one we saw for £1500! This one had tons of potential and was going for a good price. It felt clean, it had most of the things we wanted in a house and had lots of areas where I could’ve had a bit of fun with. The question is though, how much do I want to spend making over a rental??

This one was also very grey. Had the place been less grey, less clinical it may have been been put on the Maybe List but unfortunately, it was a no from us.

This has been an interesting comparison for me as one of the reasons we left the UK was because of our costs.

Some will say the rent is still excessive, however we are happy to spend more or less the same on our home as we did in the UK since this is our haven, you get so much more for your money here and I think it’s totally worth the investment.

The other lower costs of living allow us to splurge on other areas so I’m loving the switcheroo. I definitely feel less guilty treating myself to other things like pointless Labubu toys 🤣

The nightmare of travelling and then arriving at a dirty Airbnb!!

Thank god we managed to find somewhere last minute to stay, it was a house with a pool. The vibe here was so much calmer and cleaner so I felt like I could relax!!

The best news of all of this is that the host was so sweet and agreed to give me a full refund - including Airbnb’s admin so I got it all 100% back.

We only booked this place for a week, which means the pressure to find a house in 7 days was on.

Check for next episode I’ll show you all of the places I see! Will I find the one??

This was such a curveball I did not expect our Airbnb to be so rank. Looking at the video it didn’t look as bad but trust me, it felt so RANK, like the morning after a party. I wore slippers around and the soles were black after 🤢
