A long long walk along Hadrian's Wall including Sycamore Gap (the fenced off new tree cutting is looking more sycamore bush - will be interesting to see how it fairs). The wall is a tough uppy/downy trail- or trial- in parts and I'm glad we weren't doing it in Roman sandals.

It's way too hot for me to be yomping in the hills. I'm overheating just thinking about it and my pale Scottish skin is more suited to shady conditions - preferably around 18°C max!
Creating outdoor scenes at my kitchen table is more comfortable.
