The mixture of monotone’s and golds work wonders together. I’ve been working on various picture planks for you all, in various combos. The common denominator for my favourites are the use of black and golds. It’s due to contrast of the golden burst against the darkness of the black. • Announcement •

Unfortunately due to the logistics of how I create your ingrained picture art I am unable to continue doing so. I haven’t actually produced any of photograph art in a while. Instead I have been exploring ideas where I am able to be more creative. I have been continuing to use wood to explore these ideas on and I’m enjoying using paint, and some different mediums.

Obviously this is not what it looks like when I’m working, but for a moment it can look nice. I took a trip to Ikea last week in search of a desk, as our dining room table couldn’t hack the volume of work, plus we needed it for mealtimes. I’m pleased with what I’ve managed to create. It’s perfect whilst I start up, maybe one day I will have my own little studio. That would be the real dream....
