So this is the type of job I really like doing.
90% of the time sitting on my backside thinking about it (let's call it designing), and 10% actually working 😁
Everything is handmade by cutting, turning, staining and steam bending.
Approximately 23" high x 14" wide x 2" deep.

Because it was so warm, one of my bullrushes exploded 😆

You'll also know that sanding is something I find boring, and when I'm bored my mind wanders......................
which means I have another idea!
So in-between sanding sessions, this piece is starting to take shape. 😁

Well, I know I should be shaping the 3 Hares centrepiece, but while sanding, I had another idea. So this is that idea, finished 🙂
2 x resin dragonflies with Abalone wings, 4 x black palm bullrushes. All displayed in a metal and ash wood frame. 21.5 inches x 10 inches.

Today I was supposed to be working on the extra large 3 hares, but yesterday I broke the glass hanger off my hanging solar radiometer. So rather than throwing it in the bin, I decided to make it into a free standing one. 😁
