How often should you have your gels redone? ⬇️

Gel overlays | around 2–3 weeks
Booking your next appointment around the 2–3 week mark helps keep the natural nail protected and your set looking fresh.

Builder gel | around 3–4 weeks
Builder gel can generally be maintained for longer, but regular appointments are important as your natural nail grows and the balance of the product changes.

Gel Extensions | around 2–3 weeks
Your extensions should be maintained regularly as the natural nail grows. Leaving them too long can affect the balance of the extension and increase the chance of lifting or breakage.

The exact timing can vary depending on your natural nail growth, lifestyle and how well you look after your nails at home.

If you notice lifting, cracking or a broken nail before your next appointment, get booked in rather than picking or removing the product yourself.

A few simple things to remember while you’re away:

• Use cuticle oil daily
• Rinse your nails after swimming in the sea or pool
• Apply sunscreen carefully around your nails and wash your hands afterwards
• Avoid using your nails as tools
• Try not to leave them soaking for long periods
• Keep up with your recommended maintenance appointment

Sun, sea, chlorine and sunscreen can all affect your nails, so a little extra care while you’re away helps keep your set looking fresh ☀️
