This move doesn’t mean becoming a busy conveyor-belt salon. It means taking everything that makes Astral Lounge what it is and expanding it ✨

I’ll soon be sharing more about some amazing people who will be joining me, and I’m incredibly excited to have the room to host events, clubs, workshops and opportunities for local businesses and the wider community to connect.

One thing that was incredibly important to me when making this decision was protecting what makes Astral Lounge special.

I know many of my clients love the privacy, the calm atmosphere and the fact that appointments feel personal. Whether you’re neurodivergent, neurotypical, anxious, overwhelmed, or simply enjoy a quieter experience, please know that these values aren’t going anywhere.

The biggest challenge of moving into a larger shop-front space has been figuring out how to keep that same feeling. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how to make sure Astral Lounge still feels safe, welcoming, personal and pressure-free.

This move doesn’t mean becoming a busy conveyor-belt salon. It means taking everything that makes Astral Lounge what it is and expanding it.

I’m so proud of what we’ve built together already, and I’m even more excited about what’s to come. I genuinely believe we’re creating something a little different, and hopefully bringing something to Buxton that it hasn’t seen before.

Builder Gel is a thicker strengthening gel that sits over your natural nails, helping protect them from everyday knocks and encouraging growth.

✔ Ideal for weak, bendy or peeling nails
✔ Great for growing your natural nails longer
✔ Can be infilled rather than removed each appointment

At the salon, I use Halo EasiBuild Builder Gel, which is designed to strengthen natural nails while still looking natural. It’s perfect if you’ve struggled to grow your nails or find that regular gel polish doesn’t last as long as you’d like.

A lot of prom girls automatically choose acrylic extensions because that’s what their friends are having, but gel extensions are often a much more comfortable option. They have flexibility, feel lighter on the natural nail and can be soaked off afterwards rather than aggressively removed.

If you’ve ever had your nails done at the Astral Lounge, you’ll probably already know about Elise 🤍
My most requested shade and for good reason. It’s the perfect sheer, natural pink that keeps nails looking healthy & glossy. Plus, it grows out beautifully without that harsh regrowth line.

Lately, you’ve all been getting creative with it too ✨

Clear chrome over Elise has become a firm favourite, giving that gorgeous glazed, glass-like finish.
Sparkle top coats are having a moment while the sun is out and chrome French designs with Elise as the base are becoming an popular set in salon 🫧
