These are my 5 tips for your bedroom to create more calm, better rest/sleep, less stress and anxiety and to invite more love.
1. Try to use calming, earthy and grounding colours for your bedding if possible. This helps your mind to feel more relaxed.
2. Don’t have any photos of family in your bedroom, it’s as if you’re inviting others into your relationship or love life.
3. If you have drawers or space underneath your bed, avoid placing anything electrical, broken, sharp or heavy as this can cause anxiety, stress and sleepless nights.
Instead use this space for soft towels, bedding, clothing.
4. To bring in more equality into the relationship or to attract a partner introduce things in pairs of equal size. Such as 2 rose quartz crystals to bring in love, 2 objects like 2 interlinking hearts,
Make the bed for two people, if possible add 2 bedside tables, 2 cushions. Is there space for someone else?
5.🧸 If your child struggles to sleep, check they don’t have lots of toys under their beds, this can cause anxiety.
If their room is chaotic then their minds cannot relax, after a busy day at school they need a place to retreat to - so they feel safe and calm.
Busy patterned wallpaper or curtains can create a lot of energy so try placing a calming neutral coloured sheet over the bed to calm the mind at bedtime.
Keep all toys in boxes so it’s more calming on the eye.
💥 A bonus tip Number 6. Avoid using laptops or working from your bed/ bedroom as this is an area for rest and rejuvenation, your mind simply cannot switch off properly with tech in the bedroom. Your mind will always be thinking of work in the background.
