TERMS & CONDITIONS
Bits n Bobs by Kirsty 🎈
By placing an order with Bits n Bobs by Kirsty, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read these carefully before confirming your booking.
BOOKINGS & ORDERS
Advance booking is recommended as dates can fill quickly. I will always try to accommodate last-minute orders where availability and stock allow.
Your booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.
If you provide an inspiration photograph or a photograph of another balloon artist’s work, I will create my own interpretation of the design. An exact copy cannot be guaranteed.
Balloon colours may vary slightly from photographs, screen images and between different brands or batches.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and date.
The remaining balance must be paid before collection, delivery or installation of your order.
If paying by bank transfer, payment must have cleared before the order is released.
Your date is not secured until your deposit has been received.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
If you need to cancel your booking, please give as much notice as possible.
The 25% booking deposit is non-refundable, as your date has been reserved and materials may have been purchased specifically for your order.
If you cancel after personalised items, balloons or other materials have been ordered, or work has already begun, you may also be responsible for the cost of these items.
Where possible, I will try to accommodate a change of date, subject to availability. Any personalised items or materials already purchased for the original booking will still be chargeable.
Once a personalised balloon order has been completed, collected, delivered or installed, refunds cannot normally be provided simply because the customer has changed their mind.
If Bits n Bobs by Kirsty has to cancel your booking and I am unable to fulfil your order, any money you have paid for the affected order will be refunded.
PERSONALISATION
Please carefully check all names, ages, dates, wording, colours and personalisation details when placing your order.
Bits n Bobs by Kirsty cannot be held responsible for spelling mistakes or incorrect information supplied or approved by the customer.
Changes requested after personalised items have been made may incur an additional charge.
BALLOON CARE
Balloons are delicate products and can be affected by temperature, sunlight, wind, rain, sharp objects and how they are handled.
For the best results:
• Keep balloons away from direct heat, radiators and strong sunlight.
• Do not leave balloons in very hot or very cold vehicles.
• Keep balloons away from sharp objects and rough surfaces.
• Children and pets should always be supervised around balloons.
• Broken or deflated balloons should be disposed of immediately.
Once balloons have been collected or delivered in good condition, Bits n Bobs by Kirsty cannot be held responsible for damage caused by incorrect handling, storage, weather conditions or environmental factors.
The lifespan of balloons cannot be guaranteed as this can vary depending on temperature, location, environment and handling.
OUTDOOR BALLOON DISPLAYS
Outdoor balloon displays are particularly affected by weather conditions.
Heat, cold, direct sunlight, wind and rain can cause balloons to expand, shrink, oxidise, change appearance, pop or move.
Every effort will be made to create a secure and beautiful display; however, Bits n Bobs by Kirsty cannot guarantee the lifespan or condition of balloons used outdoors and cannot be held responsible for weather-related damage once the display has been installed.
COLLECTION
Customers are responsible for checking their order at the time of collection.
Once your balloons have left my care, responsibility for transporting them safely passes to you.
Please ensure your vehicle is large enough for your order before collection.
Balloon displays should not be crushed, squeezed into unsuitable spaces or placed near sharp objects.
For larger displays, you may need to fold your back seats down. Please ask before collection if you are unsure whether your order will fit in your vehicle.
DELIVERY & SET-UP
Delivery and set-up are available for certain locations and are subject to availability. Delivery and set-up charges may apply.
A delivery or installation date and time will be agreed beforehand.
Please ensure someone is available to accept the order or that access to the venue has been arranged.
Once the balloons have been delivered or installed in good condition, responsibility for their care passes to the customer.
If nobody is available at the agreed delivery time and I am unable to contact you, your order may be returned and an additional delivery or collection charge may apply.
HIRED EQUIPMENT
Any hired equipment supplied by Bits n Bobs by Kirsty, including hoops, stands, frames, easels, backdrops, signs or other display equipment, remains the property of Bits n Bobs by Kirsty.
The customer is responsible for hired equipment from the time it is delivered or collected until it is returned or collected by me.
Hired equipment must not be moved, dismantled or altered without prior agreement.
Any equipment that is lost, stolen, damaged or not returned may be charged at the full cost of repair or replacement.
Where a refundable hire deposit is required, this will be confirmed when booking.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
If I have to cancel your order due to illness, emergency or another unforeseen circumstance that prevents me from fulfilling your booking, I will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
Any payment made for products or services that I am unable to provide will be refunded.
PHOTOGRAPHS & SOCIAL MEDIA
I may photograph completed balloon displays and personalised products for use on Bits n Bobs by Kirsty’s social media, advertising or portfolio.
If you would prefer photographs of your order not to be used, please let me know.
BALLOON SAFETY
Balloons are not toys, and babies and young children should always be supervised around them.
Uninflated or broken balloons can present a choking hazard. Please keep them away from babies, young children and pets and dispose of broken balloons immediately.
Balloon displays should be kept away from naked flames, heaters, sharp objects and other potential hazards.
Balloons should never be deliberately released outdoors and should be disposed of responsibly after use.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Payment of your 25% deposit confirms your booking and confirms that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
