Firetile Heatshield Manufacturers of beautifully printed A1 rated fire board for behind Wood Burner stoves and fireplaces, and recently in kitchen wall areas.

Firetile Heatshield manufactures a unique heatshield product designed to fit behind your wood burning stove This serves to protect your plastered walls from the immense heat generated by your wood burner. They are supplied, in a variety of sizes, and a wide variety of designs to suite many styles and tastes. They are available has chamber backs, a simple back wall plate, or a three piece chamber set, a back wall plate and two side pieces. We also have available wall hanging heatshields designed to go behind the more contemporary free standing cylindrical wood burning stoves that have recently become so popular. Also available are our eco-friendly hearth Ecostone range of slab in numerous colourways, patterns, and designs which mimic both natural stone, and ceramic tile and brick, perfectly complementing our heatshield range. These are also available in many sizes and are extremely robust and heatproof. All heatshield products are produced onto an amazingly efficient A1 fire rated board, which if required can easily be trimmed and cut, and are simple to install. 🎨🔥 SOMETIMES THE MOST UNEXPECTED IDEAS TURN INTO SOMETHING SPECIAL!

We recently had a lovely local customer visit our family workshop to discuss some ideas for a bespoke Heatshield, and their request was certainly something a little different! 👀

Normally, customers come to us looking for decorative brickwork, natural stone effects, colourful patterns or even their own artwork.

But this customer had something else in mind...

🪨 THEY ACTUALLY LOVED THE NATURAL APPEARANCE OF FIREBOARD ITSELF!

Rather than covering it with a completely different design, they wanted to capture the subtle colours and textures of the original fireboard material.

And we thought, why not? ❤️

🎨 SO WE GOT CREATIVE!

We took inspiration from the natural appearance of the board, digitised the design and carefully enhanced the textures, shading and details to create more depth and character.

The result is this beautifully understated, stone-like finish that retains the character of the original material while giving it a more refined decorative appearance.

And we have to say, we're rather impressed with how it turned out! 😍

We've been busy preparing another lovely Firetile Heatshield for one of our customers, and this time it's our Herringbone and Wood design! ❤️

This is one of those designs that really makes you look twice! 👀

🧱 A BEAUTIFUL COMBINATION OF TWO CLASSIC STYLES!

The traditional Herringbone pattern sits within a rustic wood-effect border, creating the appearance of individual textured bricks framed by timber.

But here's the clever part...

✨ It's all printed onto one completely flat, A1-rated non-combustible Firetile board!

There's no actual brickwork or timber involved. The detailed printing creates that wonderful illusion of texture and depth.

We've been busy in our family workshop preparing some lovely customer orders, and these two Herringbone Heatshields caught our eye! 👀

One in a beautiful blue and the other in a lovely green, both showing how the same classic pattern can create two very different looks for a fireplace! 🏡

The Herringbone pattern has been used for centuries, from traditional brickwork and flooring to beautiful decorative interiors.
