If you've not seen my stories then you're going to want to read this!

I am B E Y O N D excited to have found out this week that our garden bar, (affectionately known as The Well Inn as we found a Victorian well when we built our extension!) has made the finals for Best Entertaining Space in the 𝐮𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡.𝐜𝐨𝐦 home awards sponsored by Metro UK 🥂

Huge thanks to everyone who voted for us! Eeeek! And thanks again to Brooks Carpentry &Construction who brought my ideas to life and built us THE best entertaining space✨️

Thank you for all the lovely messages I had about going back to work yesterday 🫶🏻 it was lovely to get some normality back after what has been a bit of a rollercoaster few months post-op.

I treated myself to a new office chair (not that expensive at all tbh) and its mega comfy. I'm also grateful to 2025 me who made this stand up desk so I cam alternate throughout the day 🙌🏻

I did have a whole carousel planned and insta had other ideas and deleted it! So swipe for a few pics of how this space has evolved and the last slide - my mug alongside the second favourite feature of my office (second only to my desk!).

Didn't overthink it. Just snapped a pic and posted it, proper old skool ✌️

Hope you've had a lovely weekend? I am starting a new contract tomorrow, which feels so weird after being off for 14 weeks! New role but same client though, so it will be lovely to see some familiar faces.

As I've said, I have found it very challenging being forced to slow down after the op. I think everyone thinks having time to sit around doing nothing sounds like a dream but not for this long!!

My body still needs time to heal, so I'll be doing shorter weeks, but mentally, I am so ready 😊

Also, we're off on a cheeky weekend to Alicante on Friday so don't feel too bad for me going back to work 😆
