Open all day with my besties Music today from Fusing the Beach Boys with Iwan Llwyd, Cyn Cwsg fully announced themselves with the release of their debut EP ‘Prydu Yn Yr Haul’, recorded with Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard’s Tom Rees. With probably some of the lushest guitar sounds that evoke 2010s indie nostalgia, Cyn Cwsg are pretty laid back& chilled out to the core and properly fantastic. Bruce Bairnsfather (British, 1887-1959) was a prominent British humorist and cartoonist. His best-known cartoon character is Old Bill from the ‘”Fragments from France” comic strip from ‘Bystander’ magazine. A London company called Smith & Sons of Portland street released a series of these WW1-era automobile mascots in the early 20th century, particularly in 1919. Standing at only 3” tall, old bill packs a punch! Serial number & stamp on under side of casting! I’ve included a picture of Bruce, who was a very interesting character, wear consummate for both! Open all day! Music today A quartet from London, Pynch have always been a band to do things their own way. Having previously released a single via Speedy Wunderground, the band formed their own label, Chillburn Recordings, went on a European tour in a Skoda and turned home recordings into international acclaim. For their debut album, Howling at a Concrete Moon, they brought in Stereolab’s Andy Ramsay to co-produce and spent ten days in Bermondsey with the tongue-in-cheek mantra of “any old s**t will do”, I know what you mean! A nicely British engineered industrial work bench! This has a nice lever mechanism that lowers/highers on its wheels, enabling easy movement of the bench! Reclaimed from an automotive garage that has been in operation since 1947. Open all day for your industrial enthusiasm! Music today by Born in Birmingham, England, and raised outside the city after her family opened a B&B when she was five, Lawrence sang in church and was fed a steady diet of music, especially reggae, by her parents. She went on to play in various punk and ska bands in her youth. Later, while studying at the experimental art school Dartington in Devon, she was discovered on YouTube by a manager, eventually leading to her dropping out of school, moving to London, and signing with EMI,it didn’t end well! Two large vinyl prints of Nantgarw Collery! Reclaimed from a nearby infirmary! We must always pay tribute to these grafters, who toiled in often perilous conditions!! Open all day for any chats about mining! Music today by Owing to the age-old tradition of brass bands from the slate mining villages of North Wales’, Llareggub Brass Band ascend from the ashes of the past and bring with them an immense dose of heavy brass! Their music invokes the sumptuous flavours of New Orleans marching bands, together with Bronx-inspired Hip Hop and Welsh language pop music. Enjoy, & remember heaven is a junkyard!

Reclaimed from an Automotive workshop, this fab set of industrial draws, all with old labels for various parts and a great colour! The workshop was established 1947 and has sadly just closed it doors, after being in the same family,?what service and what lovely people! Open all day for your entertainment.

Two over two pine chest of draws, a good small size for an alcove or small space, with just the right amount of weathering! Sitting on top is an Auto load super 8 home projector for all the family movies! The background pictures are from The Cheltenham School of Art, circa 80s.Open all day for your perusal. Music today from London based Modern Women orbits around the songwriting of Sophie Harris! The band’s music, explores a diverse range of sounds drawing from their melting pot of influences from post-punk and 60s folk music to free-jazz and noise. Taking influence from ‘90s alt rock scene, but larger than the sum of their parts, King Hannah’s sparse arrangements of both atmospheric and fuzzy textures, along with minimalist lyrics, contribute to soundscapes that are cinematic in scope!

School cupboard from back in the days of the grammar school! Condition consummate with age, with sone tidy graffiti! A Bell & Howell Auto Load 35mm projector in working order, made in the USA! Ceci n’est pas une pipe. Open all day! Music today by Stockholm Monsters! Formed in Manchester in 1980, Stockholm Monsters were signed with Factory Records in 1981. Discovered at a show in Manchester when the band was still teens, New Order’s Peter Hook took the young band under his wing and went on to produce the majority of the band’s catalogue, under the alias Be Music. They only produced album, which is sublime and I think they were discarded by Factory far too soon, should have kept the faith! Enjoy!!Remember heaven is a junkyard!

A pair of E. Gomme mirrors 1950s-60s. Originally produced by E. Gomme Ltd., a company founded by Ebenezer Gomme in High Wycombe, England, in 1898, which revolutionized post-war furniture with its innovative, stylish, and modular designs, especially popular mid-century pieces in teak. This company then became G-Plan ! Music today by Them in Uniform is a tidy indie rock group formed by Georgia Tech students Madeline Simpson and Eli Scornik, who bring a dynamic blend of vocals and guitar, complemented by the rhythmic precision of bassist Noam Belzer-Carroll and drummer Read Fernandez. The band infuses traditional indie rock with a touch of angst. Enjoy!
