I was honoured to attend the recent Carlisle United Community Sports Trust event.💙⚽️

It was inspiring to see first hand the dedication, passion, and community work that surrounds — far beyond the matchday experience.

I took a small piece of that experience home with me…. These flowers were created using repurposed event leaflets 🌿♻️

A simple reminder that even the smallest materials can carry stories worth preserving.

It also sparked a question — what happens to unsold football programmes after match day?

Could they be transformed into something lasting…
sustainable, meaningful décor for offices, events, or club spaces?

Happy International Women’s Day 🌸

A year ago today, I had the pleasure of supporting a local manufacturing business in celebrating International Women’s Day by creating and supplying 151 handmade flowers for their female employees.

Each flower was carefully made from repurposed marketing materials, transforming something once temporary into a sustainable gift designed to last long after the celebration. It was a small but meaningful way to recognise and appreciate the incredible women within their team.

Projects like this also highlight how businesses can explore creative ways to repurpose corporate materials, turning items that might otherwise go to waste into something meaningful, memorable, and sustainable.
